The VB&SA (Victorian Billiards & Snooker Association Incorporated) was established in 1927.

Our week to week competition consists of:
Pennant Season One is run over (typically) 14 weeks on Monday and Wednesday nights. It starts around mid February with finals in July. The snooker competition is graded from A Premier to C Premier and A State to D State. The billiards competition is graded A State to C State.
Pennant Season Two is run over (typically) 18 weeks on Monday and Wednesday nights. It starts around mid August and finals finish early December. A Premier to C Premier Billiards and a snooker competition is graded from A Willis through to D State.
All grades in both Seasons have 4 players with 2 tables required. All matches are played off scratch. Snooker matches consist of 3 frames and Billiards matches are of 80 minutes duration.
The VBSA run tournaments from time to time and these will be published on the website as entries are called for. To enter any VBSA run tournament, you must be a member of the VBSA or a member of an affiliate.

You are considered a member of the VBSA if you satisfy at least one of the following:
· Are a Life Member
· Are an active referee (Reviewed annually by the Victorian head of referees)
· Are an active coach.
· Are an active City Club Circuit member during the current competition year (May- April)
· Are a Junior (Under 19).
· You identify as a Female.
· Have played at least one VBSA pennant match in the calendar year preceding the date of determination of membership.
· Have paid a $20 membership fee in the current year.
ALL members are required to have completed & had accepted a Membership Application, and in doing so agree to be abide by various ABSC & VBSA Codes, etc.
Note; For the purposes of Tournament play, as both Victorian and Interstate tournaments require entrants to be a member of their home state association. In the early part of the year, any player that was a member in the previous year will be considered a member for this purpose only. As the year progresses a player will need to either be playing on a regular basis or pay the nominated membership fee to enter tournaments.
